Redgame's Super Sexy Anime Review Hour (Yay! New Name!) - Lucky Star
Hey there everyone, Redgame here and welcome back to Redgame's Super Sexy Anime Review Hour where today I have a special treat for you as I will be reviewing....
LUCKY STAR

Synopsis: Produced by Kyoto Animation, an anime about the lives of school girls who attend a Japanese high school named Ryōō. The anime itself covers their second and third school years and their personal lives in between.
Main Character List
Konata Izumi - To sum it all up, Konata is basically like any hardcore anime fan out there in the real world. She also likes to play MMORPGs and Dating Sims when she's not at school or hanging out with the other girls.
Kagami Hiiragi - Tsukasa's older fraternal twin sister, she is commonly referred to as "Kagamin". Her grades in school are excellent due to studying hard unlike her sister's yet she is weak at cooking (a skill that Tsukasa is excellent at). She is a bit of an egotistical person and tends to get pissed off/annoyed at Konata and her ideas and actions.
Tsukasa Hiiragi - Kagami's younger fraternal twin sister. She is the friendly, good natured, yet clumsy member of the group of girls. She is often portrayed as an airhead, being compared to Kagami who generally does better than her in most areas (besides cooking).
Miyuki Takara - The polite and most well mannered of the group of girls. She is from a wealthy family and is stereotypically portrayed as a "Moe" (as claimed by Konata) and "Meganekko" (A.K.A glasses-wearing) girl. Due to her wide knowledge on many subjects, the other girls usually turn to her when they don't understand something very well.
Thoughts
Art/Visuals - The art style used for lucky star is pretty "cutesy" that meaning being very colorful and smooth with simple designs, but it is very likable, setting the mood for each episode very well.

Plot/Characters - Now I remember when I first started watching Lucky Star I thought to myself, "what the hell is the plot?". That being said the only conclusion I came up with is that it was about the lives of Japanese high school girls who talk about the most random things...nuff said. While the plot seems simple, there is actually a bonus segment at the end of each episode called "Lucky Channel" with fictional actress Akira Kogami and an anime version of the voice actor Minoru Shiraishi (which is quite literal, having the exact same name, personality and sharing somewhat of a likeness to him as far as the art style would let him look like the actual person) who talk about Lucky Star being an actual show and the group of girls being the cast while Minoru gets frequent beatings by Akira for slowly stealing her spotlight even though he never meant to in the first place. That along with the actual plot is actually pretty entertaining. The wide variety of characters is pretty awesome. Almost every character shown in the anime pretty much has a part in the story which is pretty interesting and they are also likable and very much like everyday people.

Overall - Lucky Star is a pretty likable anime. It's funny and has situations and characters we can relate to which is pretty nice. Although I'm not exactly sure if it deserves all the hype it gets from other fans (which is a tremendous amount, like Chuck Norris amount). But hey, I liked it and it was pretty fun to watch. Hell I would watch it a second time if I wasn't caught up with some other stuff. Anyway if your looking for an anime to watch try Lucky Star, I'm sure that you won't be disappointed.

Could you elaborate more on the details of the anime? I would look up more on the voice actors and different impacts of this anime but I think it would be better with a written review....I do know how Aya [I think that's how you spell her name] was the voice actor for Konata [Spelling correct I think] and Haruhi....That's about it -.-'.
Do you think you can focus on the Lucky Star aspects of anime for this month? Like just write stuff solely about Lucky Star, not just the anime but the voice actors and everything related to it.
