The Melancholic Hiatus of the Alliance of Anime Blog

By Redgame
Sorry we didn't tell you this like a million years ago, but we are on hiatus with this blog at the moment due to us being busy with a bunch of other things. I hope that clears up any thoughts of this blog ending for good...which is not happening...as long as I'm alive anyway.

We'll see you all when we come back. Whenever that may be...

Rock, Paper, and Scissors...?!

By MetalAnime
The ancient game of rock, paper, scissors. I remember how conflicts used to be solved by this simplistic method. No violence, just the simple concept of pawning each other by imaginary school utensils. Check this out.

Kintaro the Golden Boy?

By MetalAnime
The third part of the Snow Sakura original manga has been finished and we'll be posting them here at the end of this post. Redgame seemed to have had a frustrating week. Apparently the educational system down there at Washington state thought it would be funny to fry his brain by throwing tests at him left and right...It had unexpected consequences...Anarchy and delicious yakisoba. Be imaginative about what happened next.

Yesterday, while working on the Snow Sakura manga series, a couple of friends and I were playing this fun little game one person would come up with theme characters that represents each of the others personalities as accurately as they could. Redgame had me labeled with Kintaro from Golden Boy. I had no idea what Golden Boy was, so I did what anyone would've done in my shoes. YouTube for the win! I'm currently purchasing plane tickets to Washington for the exclusive purpose of kicking his ass :D!

Beware Redgame...Beware!

Fast and Furious 4 Movie!

I anticipate this movie very much; mostly when it was right after I watched Tokyo Drift, which is considered to be one of the most entertaining movies ever released onto the big screen. Justin Lin still lives up to his famous reputation of directing awesome movies; his past films of the Fast and Furious films are truly epic. I managed to snatch a pretty high quality trailer of the movie Fast and Furious 4, which is scheduled to be aired on theaters during the summer of 2009.

Snow Sakura Manga (Page 2)

Here is the second page of the Snow Sakura manga Redgame and I have been working on for the past few days. This is continuation of the first page which was featured on here during Sunday, two days ago; check the post.

Leave some comments people, we want to know what the public thinks about this.

Kite Triblade's Journalism Diaries

By MetalAnime

A buddy of mine from England sent me a message today. Through the message he stated that he would be visiting an anime convention down at London on October 25th, 2008. We talked a little and I agreed to his request of posting a live journal entry documenting his experience gathered throughout the anime convention.

Shropshire's Expedition

By MetalAnime
An anime project that we're going to be working on. We're actually looking for some good reference material for Shropshire's Expedition as there seems to be nothing that can come up onto our minds when we think of mediums to use for the visuals. While I was writing this, I was actually thinking about Starship Troopers (bloody movie) and the actual American Revolution, so there will probably will be some semblance within the text. Here is the brief synopsis....

Fifty years ago....

The Sectional Confederacy of the United Supernautions approved the colonization of Section XIII. An expedition of 20,000 settlers populated the first urban establishment within Section XIII. It was called Garon City, in honor of the Garon Robear, supervisor and sponsor of the Section XIII colonies. For nearly a decade, the people struggled to survive the harsh conditions the land Section XIII burdened them with. The atmosphere was thin, therefore artificial Oxygen generators became a vital artery directly related to the colony's survival. Gravity on Section XIII has a 21.45% increase than that of the other SCUS sectioned colonies. Suits designed to prevent bone degradation and balance circadian rhythms were required to be worn by Garonians at every minute of the day. The land did support an abundance of lifeforms however....Snow to the west, charred flamelands to the east, green prairie fields covered the majority of the north and south. Garon City's location lay within the snowlands of the west as the area was strategically located to become a formidable stronghold defense when the need for arms and violence arose.

As the eleventh year passed, a Garonian scouting unit's video transmission revealed contact with another sentient species inhabiting Section XIII, thus the notion that Garonians were not the sole inhabitants were confirmed. However, a week after the first video transmission had been sent a Garonian outpost was attacked by a contingent of the mysterious natives. During a city gathering, five candidates were elected to direct a search and rescue expedition to the attacked outpost city. They were drilled to only confirm, retrieve, and assist any survivals from the defeated outpost. Engagement with hostiles were to be enacted only as a last resort. As the briefing continued, couriers were dispatched to the first buffer of the Garonian settlement that orbited Section XIII's moon to request reinforcements for the probable war.

Shropshire, mayor of Garon City volunteered for the expedition as one of the five candidates. He was an ex-convict that was banished from his previous life within Section IX for charges against subordination. The charges were dropped as there was not enough evidence to convict, however he became blacklisted by society thereafter, and eventually charged with more misdemeanor acts that were recorded as felonies. Forced to flee or otherwise be jailed for fifty years, he successfully manipulated a situation where he was drafted to become a colonist of the SCUS Garonian settlement. Shropshire climbed the ladder of social success until he became a respected member, and eventually the mayor of the tiny Garon City population.

to be continued....

....We were thinking about whether we should just do a visual novel with this instead of a video.

Redgame's Super Sexy Anime Review Hour - Great Teacher Onizuka

By Redgame
Hey everyone, and welcome back to Redgame's Super Sexy Anime Review Hour, I'm Redgame of course and I will once again bring you another popular anime. That being....

GREAT TEACHER ONIZUKA

Synopsis: Animated by Studio Pierrot
and based on the manga by Tohru Fujisawa, Great Teacher Onizuka (GTO) is about Eikichi Onizuka, a former member of a biker gang, and his quest to become the greatest teacher in Japan. Onizuka decided to pursue his teaching career to try picking up a random chick one day, only to be turned down as she later on went on a date with an older teacher, seeming to be madly in love with him. This provoked Onizuka to think that chicks dig teachers, and thus he decided on becoming a teacher himself. The comedy usually involves Onizuka weaving his class into his crazy plans, getting outsmarted by them, rivalry with the school's vice-principal, and trying to get a female teacher he likes to hopefully date him. Throughout the series, Onizuka teaches his students some meaningful lessons.

Character List:

All the characters names have been flipped (last name first, first name last) to show how the Japanese do their bios of characters, exceptions to this are Onizuka and the vice principal!

Eikichi Onizuka: A twenty-two year old blonde-haired, virgin; ex-biker who gets into the teaching career due to the event mentioned in the synopsis. The fact remains that the school likes his "teaching methods"; regardless of the opposing fact that the vice principal himself hates Onizuka. Eikichi is also a pervert and usually acts like a dumbass.

Fuyutsuki Azusa: A female teacher that started teaching on the same day that Onizuka did. Onizuka has a crush on her and at various times tries to make moves on her; usually by involving her in one of his crazy plans.

Vice Principal Hiroshi: One of the vice principals at the school Onizuka teaches at. He hates Onizuka with a passion and most of the time tries to get him fired. His car is constantly wrecked by Onizuka in some kind of situation.

Kanzaki Urumi: One of Onizuka's students. She is a genius with an IQ of 200 and usually likes to show it off by outsmarting Onizuka and the other students with her own plans and various knowledge of things and such.

Yoshikawa Noboru: The class wimp. When he met Onizuka he was in a suicidal mood due to getting picked on all the time because of his height and 'wimpiness'. While trying to commit suicide, Onizuka saved him and showed him how to stand up to people, thus breaking him out of his suicidal thoughts.

Kikuchi Yoshito: A computer whiz, also a student in Onizuka's class. Due to Onizuka being a new teacher, he edited some sexual photos with his face on them. So to put simply, he pawns at Photoshop. He soon gives Onizuka respect and stops picking on him, eventually joining any plans that Onizuka cooks up. He gets along with Urumi pretty well.

Muri Kunio: Yet another student in Onizuka's class and another member of Onizuka's school gang. Like everyone else, He did not respect Onizuka when he first started teaching. Later on he changes his opinion and shows Onizuka more respect while simultaneously joining the group.

There are much more characters in the anime than listed here. Watch the anime to find out about the rest.

Thoughts

Art/Visuals:
I thoroughly enjoyed the facial expressions of Onizuka, but other than that the show falters in animation. Every once in a while, horrifically bad CGI will intrude, and in general the character designs are unappealing and somewhat ugly. Motion is stiff or simply non-existent. Fortunately, the animation doesn't do anything to hurt the amazing storyline or characters.
4/5 R.G.S (Redgame Approval Stars)

Plot/Characters:
Onizuka, as mentioned earlier, is not only tremendously loveable, but downright inspirational. In addition to this, the students that he teaches are all well fleshed out. Though initially intensely unlikeable, the development over the course of the series is simply phenomenal. Watching each of these initially worthless individuals be converted to Onizuka’s way of thinking is a treat to behold. As for the plot, it's fantastic. It's funny and adds that great amount of drama when needed. Great job Mr. Fujisawa!
5/5 R.G.S - For Both

Voice Acting:
The voice acting is just plain hilarious for both the original Japanese and English, but in the good way mind you. All the voice actors did a terrific job at letting me get a good feel for their character. Both of Onizuka's voice actors were perfect fits for him especially.
3/5 R.G.S - For Both

Overall:
In my mind, this is one of the classics of modern anime, and will hopefully be enjoyed by future anime fans for years to come. If you haven't already seen it and are looking for an anime that is both hilarious and inspirational, I can't possibly recommend GTO to you enough.
Overall Score - 8.9/10

Well there you have it, My review on GTO, I'll see all of you fellow 'Otakus' later, I'm gonna go find that school that Onizuka teaches at and enroll. Hella' fun school here I come!

Scarred For Life

By MetalAnime

Being a Naruto fan (since my freshmen years of high school) I've Masashi Kishimoto's addicting story about the plot of the Hidden Leaf Village and its ninja inhabitants. Less impressive, but somewhat funnier, is this image I stumbled across today. This, along with the 'fat man loli dancing' video pretty much scarred me for life.since

By some coincidence the number of Naruto fans have diminished ever the Asuma story arc. I can't blame the people really, but considering I may be subject to heavy flaming, I won't ruin it for the people who have not reached that arc yet, but as a notice, you'll be slightly peeved and a little disappointed once that checkpoint pulls a hit and run on you.

Currently trying to convince Supernaut to write an episodic review of Death Note, and for Redgame to stop being a coach potato and finish his overdue anime review.

Anime Presidents

By MetalAnime
This year is a very important year with the upcoming presidential elections and whatnot. I look left and right and see everything either McCain or Obama. What we should do....Is to get a massive amount of artists together at some convention inside Washington state, then hold a huge ass anime convention on the same day as the election. Then the artists will work together to draw out the ideal president for the United States of America! Bwahahaha!!!!

Ah....How I remember Death Note.

Bumbling Bees + Anime'd Remix?

By MetalAnime
That feeling, what's it called....Oh yeah! Nostalgia, not quite certain what it exactly means yet, but I'm under the impression it has something to do with past memories and euphoric feelings. Redgame had this video on his favorites and showed it to me three days ago; I just know dubbed it worthy to post here :/....Such a nub.... Yet, I had a valid reason to not post something like this until today, for one....The video is split between total pawnage (the good kind) through the first half of the video, and epic fail (complete shit) on the second half. Previous animes that I watched and forgotten were reinstated by the minute and a half introduction of the 'Bumble bee Anime remix'; it rocked ass of course. Chobits, Rurouni Kenshin, Detective Conan, hell....I can't remember the others listed; they were memorable milestones within my anime watching career (I'm hardcore 'Otaku' ^_____^) that became forgotten for nearly a year, but this video replenished my most treasured memories of some of the most epochal anime series ever published onto the Internet.

DJ & Anime Musicals

By MetalAnime
DJ It Up!

Props to a lot of those DJ mixers out there who spend their time remastering songs. Hell, I did not even know DJ artists existed on the 'net' until a week ago when Redgame and I stumbled upon the Renard rendition of Caramelldansen while searching out appropriate music for the anime music video. It seems to be that during the search, I was addicted (once again) to the Caramelldansen craziness. It had to be right after I managed to quit too. I replayed weird waffle songs Redgame sent to me over and over again.

Today, I corresponded and stretched out to some people through YouTube and met a pretty cool DJ who calls himself DJ Knux (DJKnux). He's German, and I know that because when checking his profile the words 'fuktor' and 'shice nipples' hit me hard. Of course, I could be wrong, he could just have some serious grammar misunderstandings, or perhaps he's dyslexic....However! That does not lessen the fact that he is an extraordinary DJ re-mixer. I received a message from DJ Knux today as he sent me a sample of a newly remastered remix of the previous 'Caramelldansen Wikked Remix (DJ Renard)' I posted up earlier for download.

It is one helluva remix.

It's not even one-fifth of the way finished and I can notice the differences of style between DJ Knux and DJ Renard. Here is the download link for the upgraded 'Wikked Remix'.

Liek teh N00b Layout?!

By MetalAnime
N00b Layout

Disregarding my attempts at '1337' speak, I personally want to congratulate myself for finally completing the installation of the new Alliance of Anime theme skin. Redgame, Supernaut, and I haven't even finished fixing our last attempt at installing a new skin, which turned out to be shitty by the way, and here we are trying to get a new one on at the same time. After two and half hours of backbreaking work, the new theme was successfully installed and trimmed to fit the Alliance of Anime blogspot. Though casualties are not non-existent, a lot of the previous widgets (ha-ha, funny word widget is) were deleted and unretrievable, but everything can be re-installed tomorrow, it's early morning here and everyone needs their rest, so have a look at the new layout and send us some feedback on it. Peace.

by the way, this is a picture screenshotted by Redgame during the hours when the blogspot was really pawned by us at the time we were attempting to install the skin. It's a relief nobody saw the Alliance of Anime blogspot during those hours....They would have been like, "what the f#ck is this shit?!" or "....".

Caramelldansen Revolution!

By MetalAnime
Caramelldansen Revolution!

Salutations my fellow 'Otaku' comrades! It seems I caught the Caramelldansen fever again and now I'm addicted to another type of remix, or should I say remixes, of this phenomenon called $@#!ing Caramelldansen. I love it and hate it at the same time ()__________(), but....I still mostly love it ;P! Otherwise, I wouldn't have done the remix for it earlier. Anyways, I searched up some different types of the Caramelldansen remixes, though I had no idea there were any besides the Speedycake Remix out there, and what surprised me was that I reached like nearly 200 different results for different versions, at least that's what most them claim to be. On that particular topic, this whole week will be to honor of the Caramelldansen cultural revolution that has changed the way anime fans view the Internet and everything else now. Popotan still kind of sucks, the only reason I watched it (Redgame too) was because of Caramelldansen, but it turns out the anime is not as half as entertaining as the song, probably because I only watched the first few episodes :P. Meh, I'm still going to finish it though, since it's still not a bad anime, just isn't as good as some of the more epic ones lying out there.

This is the DJ SHIMAMURA REMIX which I'm pretty confident was remastered by a guy with the name Shimamura. Would anyone mind telling whether or not this is actually part of the Popotan original soundtrack?

On other news, I figured out Redgame's embarrassing secret. The picture kind of reminds me of the time Shinji did the same thing, except it was on an episode of Neon Genesis Evangelion and he had to use a teacup instead of a wad of shampoo.

Slutty Stars Good Rapes Go Bad

He-he....! Needn't say more than that....

Advertisement Thingy

By MetalAnime

I decided to do an advertisement poster for the Alliance of Anime, about half-way through the poster, the thought hit me that we didn't really have anything to advertise....I just threw some crap out about free videos and came up with a sweeto' poster.

Caramelldansen (Wikked Remix by Renard)

I had some spare time on my hands today so I decided to remix a remixed version of the Caramelldansen. The original mixer dude is Renard (insert last name here because I have no idea what it is), but I just switched a couple of things up here and there.

Delicious Lemonade

By MetalAnime
The anime music video will be called Delicious Lemonade. None of us here have any idea as to why either, probably because the name just came up for some odd reason. We are going to hopefully use the following animes as parts for this anime music video. Each one will be respectively struck through to show that it has been successfully used as within the video. Here is the list, most of you will see that it is mostly just the same animes as was listed a couple posts earlier.

Delicious Lemonade Checklist

~ Ai Yori Aoshi
~ Hitman Reborn
~ Love Hina
~ Air Gear
~ Lucky Star
~ Gurren Lagann
~ The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
~ Strawberry Panic!

The list will continue on....For now, it's just these....

Phew!

By MetalAnime
It's been quite a while since the last post, but some things urgently needed attention and I couldn't ignore them....

Yes, I had to help reestablish my secret stash of 'pr0n collection.' Anyways....Since there is currently no alternative, it's been decided that an anime music video will be done by the Alliance of Anime just for the heck of it. A couple of posts earlier (I think three), there was a list of mentioned anime, one by one the allied 'Otakus' of this alliance will eliminate and implicate into the anime music video until we have the next anime phenomenon video to hit the another generation of YouTubers.

We're starting with Ai Yori Aoshi, on the next post, we'll be adding updates on everything throughout the video, so look forward to that....

....Now I just need to get Redgame off his retired ass so he can do the pictures for the alliance again.

Supernaut Says Music!

By Supernaut
Music is an important part of our culture and society, so we should expect our favorite shows and games to feature some good music. Sometimes they do not, and that is where good games are separated from great games. Lets take a game like the Halo franchise and replace the very well done classical compositions of that game with some punk rock in its place. That wouldn’t fit at all not to mention you may feel like the game developers made some sort of silly mistake. It can ruin the rhythm in games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band.

In anime, it very often features a similar musical composition to fit its kind. For example, 'cutesy' animes often have that same upbeat kind of J-pop tune to them, which has no noticeable difference. But if I put a heavy song from Death Note it makes the show feel entirely different. Music is a powerful influential tool and it is absolutely horrid when someone on YouTube decides to do a really bad video to a really good song, it ruins the song for a while.... Same can be said for the opposite effect, a song you might not like by itself, you may like if it is associated with a cool video. To those of you out there, if you are going to make an AMV please think about the show you're using and what music you pick. I have seen some amazingly funny videos using comedic songs ripped off movies, but if it used incorrectly it can really piss me off. As for my taste in music, I like the music in most shows so long as it fits the mood of the theme. My personal opinion regarding anime would be Hellsing and Trigun have the best musical taste. Hellsing has a more blues/rock feel to it but Trigun is a rock/grunge feel in my opinion, to me, this is most important.

In videogames the music can make me love it even more that I would without it. I enjoy games like Mercenaries 2, but the music in that game is just so unexciting that I don't even know I'm having fun half the time. That does not mean it's a ruined 'open-ended' game; however, for most games like Gears of War the music is extremely important to me. The Gears music is competent, but sometimes it feels like I'm playing an awful horror movie from the 80s.

Of course we can’t end without a music review! We get one song today....And that is Zero the Hero by Black Sabbath; from their Born Again Album. It is my hands down favorite song of Black Sabbath after Ozzy left the band. The mood has a dark feeling and the guitar has an almost deadly pitch to it. The lyrics are decent, but I am not sure what they are about for the most part, but it fits nicely.

Complaints & Beastly Animes

Beastly Animes

There is so much to complain about....For example, about how this weekend is going to suck some major balls since I have to attend this mock exam for four hours straight. Not to mention that a substitute teacher today kind of screwed the entire class over today....What kind of substitute teachers gives out tests when the teacher is absence?! That's completely messed up....

As for the poll, yesterday at 12:14 A.M (or today during the very early morning), the poll was closed and....Only twenty votes. We were actually hoping for more :(. Anyways, here are the results, the 'boneable' chick award goes to Aoi with a total of seven votes, second place is Haruhi with a sum of five votes, and third goes to Yoko with 3 votes. I guess since the votes has been out, we'll be doing an anime music video on Aoi from Ai Yori Aoshi to honor the winner of the poll and those who voted on it.

I've compiled an anime listing of the top favorites for the Alliance of Anime:

~ Love Hina
~ Detective Conan (Case Closed)
~ Neon Genesis Evangelion
~ Lucky Star
~ Ai Yori Aoishi
~ Chobits
~ Tengen Gurren Lagann
~ The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
~ Death Note
~ Code Geass
~ Soul Eater
~ Ranma 1/2
~ Strawberry Panic!
~ Air Gear
~ Hitman Reborn!
~ Fullmetal Alchemist
~ Inuyasha
~ YuYu Hakusho
~ Shaman King

The Black Nerv & Naruto-Arena

By MetalAnime

It seems that EVA: Black Nerv is going along smoothly. Many of the old cast members from the Ichigo is on Crack series will be back as guests or narrators starring for this parody series. The picture that is seen looming over this post is the official EVA: Black Nerv video series banner.

Jay told me about this one awesome anime game that does not suck. It's a Naruto-Arena, it's a turn-based strategy game for everyone out there who enjoys playing Command & Conquer or Age of the Empires.

Videogames....Huh?

By MetalAnime
Lately, I've been seeing a lot of animes being ripped off the television screens and placed into videogame consoles, notably the PS3 or its precedent the PS2. I thought that since most of these animes were a hit, maybe the videogame industry wouldn't completely molest the greatness of the franchises by releasing a completely nut shot blow to gamers everywhere. I was only half right, turns out that while everyone on the Internet these days are complaining about how the anime game series aren't as entertaining as the actual animated series themselves. I disagree with that, watching Redgame struggle with the old Nintendo 64, or Sega, version of the Neon Genesis Evangelion videogame is pretty 'laughing my ass off' entertaining. He was playing it on his laptop on some downloaded program that simulates the Gameboy, so when I received a message from Redgame insulting Shinji in so many different ways that I didn't think possible, I cracked up. The messages will say stuff like....

"Shinji you twat, kill the stupid b-! No.... You dumb shit! Left does not mean down you clinically depressed dwarf testicle!"

or

"Stop sitting there staring like a fascinated drug addict! There's no stinkin' pony there you blithering idiot! Shoot the enemy! While you're at it learn to reproduce sperm at a normal rate!"

~ Redgame (with some exaggeration)

Ha-ha, yeah....Watching that was right there next to watching the actual series. Lacking entertainment my ass, I hadn't laughed as hard as I did yesterday since the day before that.

By the way, new month, Suhweet! This is the month of trick-or-treating and yes, I'm still going to trick-or-treat, it's free candy.

RedG2007 (11:23:24 PM): I do remember one thing I used to say
RedG2007 (11:23:28 PM): when I watched it
RedG2007 (11:24:33 PM): everytime shinji would act like a pussy I would make a light somewhat orgasm sound, kinda like a gay guy being scared
RedG2007 (11:24:42 PM): it was funny as fuck to my friends
RedG2007 (11:25:07 PM): I would be like "uh!..no I ..ehh!"
SoundsofVictory0 (11:25:12 PM): rofling.
SoundsofVictory0 (11:25:27 PM): i'm so copying and pasting this.
RedG2007 (11:25:30 PM): lmao

EVA Video Series: Black Nerv

By MetalAnime
EVA: Black Nerv

The allied 'Otakus' of the Alliance of Anime will pool their resources together to execute Black Nerv, which essentially just means a few cast members will be recruited and we're going to do a fan video of the series Neon Genesis Evangelion. The format for this will basically just be like a running commentary throughout the series. A lot of the things that weren't noticed by many of the people but caught the attention of a selective few, we're going to point those out and interject our opinions about what we think of it. Personally, Asuka has me boning a wall at times (yes, I have a wall fetish, you have a problem with that?)....However she pales when compared to the Yoko from Gurren Lagann, she has me boning pillows, mhmm....Soft, warm, plushy pillows.

Stay tuned for more updates on this EVA video series.

Encyclopedia Dramatica

Redgame sent me a link to this ridiculous encyclopedia that was at the same time, kind of funny. Be warned, this is not for the easily offended or immature, however, you should still click this link because it's a crime to miss out on something this stupidly funny.

Redgame's Radio Show

Red has had his radio show for quite some time now....Though on some weird fluke, I can never seem to be able to listen to it live, every time I go there, he puts me on hold for like a half hour and I'm stuck there seething and thinking about hiring Syphilis infested monkeys to fill his room with pee. But, at last, no longer shall I have to resort to going barracuda on my chair for every missed out episode of the radio talk show, Redgame just told me today that there was a HTML embed feature which can permit the talk show to be aired right here. I Should have told me that before, but whatever....It's time to set the monkeys loose....

Alliance of Anime Forums

Nobody noticed the secret link I mysteriously hid within the last post? It was the Code Geass Ending section, and it actually linked to the Alliance of Anime Forums which was assembled yesterday. The link to the forums is below, feel free to sign up and become an allied member with us! This will become one of the biggest 'Otaku' nations ever, *laughs manically.*

Otaku Forums

A few things I will add are moderators aren't plentiful at the moment, therefore anyone wishing to be a moderator, let me or someone who writes for the Alliance of Anime blogspot know. The prerequisites for becoming a moderator are the following:

  • Refer at least ten people to the forums.

  • The first five to accomplish this feat will become a moderator for the allied anime forums.

Veterans of the Alliance of Anime

I want to honor some of the people who have helped me so far with this alliance of 'Otakus!' This is a great opportunity to introduce many of these people to the public too.

Redgame - The guy who photoshopped most of the graphical pictures on the blogspot, including the banner and most of the main posts comics during the weekends. He is the Redgame who's motto is 'dayum bitch' and writes out the Redgame's Sexy Hour Anime Reviews, or whatever the hell he calls it....An awesomesauce friend though, known this dude for nearly a year and he hasn't failed once to hold up his end of the friendship, fucking beast!

Supernaut - Sometimes too serious, but damn near reliable friend. He is possibly a musician as he plays the guitar, remixes music, and reads music XD! Supernaut is another main graphical artist for the Alliance of Anime. He photoshopped the Alliance of Anime signature shown at the bottom of the last post, not to mention a lot of the banners and avatars for the forums. Some of his other accomplishments as an allied 'Otaku' is that he write the very opinionated editorials on certain animes, and his signature 'music' reviews on the end of every single of his posts.

    Animania Cultural Revolution

    By MetalAnime

    Another Week....

Another week is done and out, it was pretty eventful. The comics are getting easier and a couple of new features have been added, like the voice comment thing, it's pure ecstasy. Not to mention a subscription link below for everyone who visits us to subscribe and share with their friends. Most of my weekend was spent watching Neon Genesis Evangelion, wildly but yet falsely hoping that Shinji will eventually 'get some'; try to deduce who ate my last piece of popcorn chicken from Arby's. I know you're reading this buddy! Ha-ha, anyways, leave a comment or something so we know who you are.

For those curious people wondering who did the 'Animania!' banner, it was WolfKingCarnage, a friend I met back on the AK Commons.

    Anime Culture

The anime culture is very tight I have to say, not to mention it's expanding rapidly like-....Something else below my belt :D! It's a problem, I know I have to get it examined but for now, back to the subject of the anime culture. I don't want to say Japanese culture and have myself look like a ignorant 'weeaboo' but the truth is, there is a distinct relation between anime and the people who come up with them. I don't have anything against the people who dress up as Naruto or L from Death Note, but I don't understand why they would do something like that. This does not prove I'm not as hardcore 'Otaku' as them though, hell, I would just rather assemble a *bleeping* mobile suit from Gundam Wing and walk to that anime convention just to crap on everyone else there :/, which is one of the reasons I'm curious about mechanics right now....

The point is, I think there are better ways to live within the anime world instead of dressing like the characters. Of course I have nothing against cosplayers, I really like the ones that have voluptuous boobies and are scarcely closed but the ones that freak me out have to be those who cross dress and use cosplaying as an excuse....To further my point, here is a video. It scarred me for life.

    Code Geass Ending

I've been oblivious to the fact that the euphoric anime series Code Geass has just reached an end. That blows testes. I can see why CLAMP would want to end the series with two seasons instead of spamming 400 episodes like Detective Conan or Naruto, the former being so much better than the latter....I have something against a lot of mainstream anime right now, probably just a stage, whatever. What I didn't want....Is to receive messages from people telling me the damn ending to the series. They're like....

"Yo yo yo dude have you seen the ending to Code Geass yet? It's so freakin' sweet because Lelouch and his buddy dies and everyone else gets to live happily ever after I'm so fuckin' excited that my rod just grew another two centimeters weeee!"

    ~ Anonymous

....Actually that was a bit of an exaggeration but everyone gets my point. I think it's weird that even though Code Geass and Soul Eater were released on the same date, April 7th, 2008, Code Geass managed to finish the series before Soul Eater could....Being two season further while Soul Eater still hasn't finished season.

    Dating Sims (Anime Fanboy Paradise)

    Dating Simulations

Everyone listen up! Dating simulations! Don't try to bullshit the fact that none of us never played a virtual reality dating simulation before. I'm declaring that the majority of guys out there have played them before, probably on Newgrounds which is the Hentai gateway drug for most people....I should know. Now, I will not delve to details about the dark side of dating simulations, the extremes like hardcore Hentai -.- that's your personal stuff, but I do want to credit Metanimation for coming up with two of the most ridiculous, hilarious, messed up, and disappointing virtual dating simulations ever conceived.

Someone, and he still hasn't shut the fuck about it, once told me that every anime fan
has to have seen the series Neon Genesis Evangelion at least once to really be called an anime lover. That's complete horse fices and I want to introduce a lead pipe to his face for that. Of course the anime itself is excellent and addicting as hell, but still doesn't undermine your 'Otakuness.' However, Metanimation, disregarding what I just said, does not seem to be either for or against the anime. Their game EVA 4 Dating Simulation, or whatever they call it is sweet, but that's only on the outside....On the inside, the characters are fucking idiots who have a variety of problematic issues such as drugs and an addiction to slicing a man's penis off. I love it. Except for the fact that I nearly choked on a piece of chicken while I was playing, not to mention the fact that I wanted to go on a rampage with a wooden chair when I saw the ending. It is the most anti-climatic one you would ever see, probably on par with the anime's ending. You're like....Expecting sex and stuff, but no! The only thing you get are words like 'Game Over', 'The End', and "Thanks for Playing.' You're welcome jackasses, you're so welcome, because I spent three fucking days acquiring magical spells to fight off biologically fucked up monsters, then spending my time trying to please a virtual reality fucktard on drugs and no sex! #$@%^!#$&~~~~!

The game really isn't that bad despite my rant. You're not really playing these games for sexual stimulation, it's more for whenever you need a good laugh. Plus, it's not often you see a game where you can actually date a girl from an anime....Screw that cardboard box I have, boning the drawings is the new fad.

The Love Hina simulation they have is, my opinion, a whole lot better than their EVA 4 one. Probably since Love Hina just rocks ass, but I liked the drawings better and there are no more addicted druggies beating the living daylights out of you because they think an evil purple mushroom is chasing them. This simulation has so much *bleep* normality to it....You go to school, you visit the gym, you party with friends and get drunk....Then you get home where the chicks pick fights with you and the only thing you can do is retaliate by throwing a shoe. A chick that's obsessed with watermelons probably smoked too much weed when she was an adolescent, and a maniacal sword chick attempts, at every chance, to waylay the main character, which is you, ever step of the game....Had to kick her ass like eleven freakin' times....With a shoe.

I was pawned by Metanimation, they're probably having a laugh right now, but yes, they pawned me. After my hard work of achieving a virtual erection and hoping to see some hot sexy anime action with the chicks, they pulled the same damn stunt as they did with EVA 4! -_____________-....Meh, whatever. There were no boobies....Just the words *Thanks for playing, hope you play again ^__^* or some other bullcrap. I was like....You whores!

But! I think Metanimation is awesome due to the fact that they managed to addict me to the game for so long even without the explicit acts you see on other games.

    Tsubaki!

I just completed my collection of Haruhi porn!Tsubaki from the anime forums I mentioned earlier is a recent buddy who has whipped up some extraordinary works of art. The o
ne that caught my attention is the one depicted to the left. Yes, Konata has just received her dream collection of every single Haruhi action figure released to the public. Hopefully, Tsubaki will agree to send more pictures to post here and thus, share with everyone else! She says she has some of her images reserved for a few contests, therefore we can't view them....But! She has graciously sent a few pictures since she is such an awesome 'Otaku' fan!

The next Aya Hirano perhaps?I've only heard about the anime Vocaloids from the public anime media phenomenons such as the Caramelldansen Speedycake Remix and several fandubs of the openings, but there's something about this picture that I can't stop my eyes from staring at....O_O....

    ....What is it?!

My balls are huge! Whee!!!!A signature perhaps? It is one epic banner that is for sure....At the moment, I'm only typing with one hand since my other hand is busy doing something else....Still can't stop staring at the previous
    picture of Konat-....Never mind.

What I'm about to say right now is not really sensitive to people....So yeah....

I have no idea who the hell she is or what anime character she stars as....She is however, giving me one of the biggest boners of my life.

Redgame's Super Sexy Anime Review Hour - The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

    By Redgame
Hello there everyone. Welcome back to Redgame's Super Sexy Anime Review Hour. Yet again we have a special treat for you this time around as today I will be reviewing....

    THE MELANCHOLY OF HARUHI SUZUMIYA

Synopsis: Yet another anime animated by Kyoto Animation. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya based on the series of light novels by Nagaru Tanigawa is an anime focusing on Haruhi Suzumiya, a first-year high school student, and a group called the S.O.S. Brigade which she formed in order to look for and play with aliens, people from the future (time-travelers), people from alternate worlds, and other such amazing entities ('Espers' ect....). The Story is told by Kyon, one of the members of the S.O.S. Brigade who Haruhi forces to help her start the group. The other members in the group just happen to be these entities that Haruhi has been searching for (her knowledge being totally oblivious to the fact). Each one of them approach Kyon and show him their true abilities and the scary fact that due to a past event if Haruhi gets aggravated or bored in any way she could destroy the world.

    Main Character List

    Haruhi Suzumiya -
The oddest student anyone could meet, Haruhi Suzumiya is the brash and exuberant leader of the S.O.S. Brigade. From the time she had set foot in high school, Haruhi made it clear she would rather interact with more "interesting" individuals... namely aliens, 'Espers', time travelers and the like. She had even founded the S.O.S. Brigade (with the involuntary help of Kyon) so that she could be able to find these "interesting" individuals. Her obsession is such that she doesn't think much of the "normal" students in school.

Although she is an odd person, Haruhi is also very talented. She's a natural athlete, and has even showed musical inclinations. However, she's also very selfish and stubborn, but won't harm the other members of the S.O.S. Brigade in her quest to indulge in the unusual.

Kyon - Even when he was a youngster, Kyon hardly ever believed in things like aliens, time travelers and 'Espers', much less Santa Claus. So when he entered high school, he resigned himself to be just an average person that never believed in them. But then, that was before he sat in front of Haruhi Suzumiya, who on the first day announced in class she would only associate with aliens, time travelers, 'Espers' and the like.

Apparently, Kyon found out from the other students in the class that Haruhi often had did unusual things during her time in junior high, not to mention turn-down every date she was even offered. They had one bit of advice for Kyon – stay away from her. However, Kyon was curious about her, and for some reason became the only person in school who would even talk to her.

That was his first mistake. Since then Haruhi has dragged him around to help her find these entities she speaks of.

Yuki Nagato - Yuki Nagato is a student in the same high school which Haruhi Suzumiya and Kyon attend. Originally, she was a member of the literature club... but since the rest of the members graduated the term before, she was present when Haruhi took over the club room when she formed the S.O.S. Brigade. She then became the first member to "join", besides Haruhi and Kyon.

Personality wise, Yuki is a rather dull person. She appears not to pay too much attention to all the chaos Haruhi causes, instead keeping her nose in a book. She also tends to speak in an emotionless monotone. But not long after the club was formed, Yuki had invited Kyon to her apartment for tea. It was there she told him a startling story.

Yuki had revealed that she was, in fact, an artificial data interface serving something called the Integrated Data Entity, and she had been on Earth for about three years – the same time that Haruhi had discovered she was no different than any other person on Earth – and as a result unconsciously recreated the universe. Yuki was assigned to Earth to observe Haruhi, for which the Integrated Data Entity believed that she was the key to human evolution.

Mikuru Asahina - Mikuru Asahina just happens to be one of the students that Haruhi drags into membership into the S.O.S. Brigade, which at the time Haruhi formed to find aliens, Espers or time travelers. Although a very buxom girl, the boys in the school stay away from her because of her innocent attitude. This doesn't stop Haruhi from using the poor girl in many of her hare-brained schemes, from dressing her up either as a maid, a bunny girl or a nurse while in the Brigade's club room.

It wasn't until later when she confided with Kyon the truth about her. It seem that Mikuru was a time traveler herself, and was on a mission to find out why time travel was not possible past a certain point in time – which was when Haruhi found she was as insignificant as any other person. But when Kyon tried to press the girl into proving her story, all he got from Mikuru was the facts he was asking was classified.

Itsuki Koizumi - Itsuki Koizumi is a transfer student in the same high school Haruhi and Kyon attend. How he came to the S.O.S Brigade was that Haruhi, out of a whim, figured that the club could use a "mysterious transfer student" to fill their membership. As a result, the ever-smiling Itsuki was dragged in as a member.

As stated before, Itsuki almost always seems to be smiling and not seeming to have a care for the world, even in the face of the moody Kyon. However, on one day, he did confided in a secret to Kyon, when they were not within Haruhi's earshot. It seems that Itsuki is an 'Esper', one of the beings Haruhi is seeking to meet. He only came to realize his powers three years ago – which coincidentally was on the very day Haruhi realized that her life was not as unique as everyone else's lives. Now her occasional moodiness is inadvertently causing unusual events known as "closed spaces" – practically-invisible voids – to appear in the city, which then follow the appearance of 'Shinjins', gigantic entities that represent Haruhi's frustrations, which then wreak the buildings within these closed spaces. If these closed spaces and the 'Shinjins' within them are not dealt with quickly, they have the ability to swallow up the entire earth and in effect, end all existence.

Itsuki is a member of a mysterious organization known as "The Agency", which believe that Haruhi possesses some form of god-like ability, and when her frustrations open the closed spaces, he, along with other 'Espers', do battle with the 'Shinjin' created within, thereby collapsing the spaces. He even shows Kyon what he has to deal with in order to let him know that he is the key to help Haruhi maintain some form of emotional stability... or else the earth is doomed if he doesn't.

    Thoughts

Art/Visuals - To be honest I was not all the surprised with how the art itself turned out. However the visuals were actually pretty refreshing. So I'm not exactly sure, my thoughts on this are pretty 'wishy-washy'. 7/10 R.A.S. (Redgame Approval Stars)

Plot/Characters - As far as the plot goes it is actually pretty well developed. It's not really a plot you see very often and because of that adds another refreshing aspect to the anime. It's actually pretty easy to follow (in my opinion). The characters are alright I suppose. They are likable in many ways, the only thing that I thought needed some work on is the development. While the first couple episodes do give some information on the characters it is hardly enough to work with. Plot - 9/10 R.A.S. / Characters - 7/10 R.A.S.

(NEW REVIEW SECTION) Voice Acting - The voice acting is pretty well done in both the original Japanese and the English. While both casts are also the casts for Lucky Star that doesn't seem to change much of anything. Although I must admit, the English dub could of done better in many fields. Japanese - 9/10 R.A.S/ English - 8/10 R.A.S.

Overall - I must admit that The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is an anime that I would reccomend to you anime fans out there. Every bit of it will keep you entertained. Although I must warn you. The order of the episodes gets confusing as there is three orders in which you can watch it. I suggest for you seeing it for the first time that you watch the series in the DVD order which is in numeric order so its easier to follow. MUST SEE. Overall Score - 8/10 R.A.S.
